Rolled out to NYC with the big homie Mont and the Real Street fam a few weeks ago to capture their visit to the Dj Kay Slay show and then on to hit the studio for a collaboration. Real Street has been blazing the street of Detroit for a minute and now they are set to conquer everywhere else. Guest appearances by Dj Kay Slay, Mizz Dr, Young 2da and more. New episodes coming soon.
Kenlowe & I actually go way back to the very beginning of when I first got into Hip Hop and eventually we formed a short-lived group called Freshmen Class along with Pilot & Caz Nova. We recently hooked back up to shoot a few videos for “One Day” and “Countin Money”. A few more are in the works so look for those soon.
First of a long stream of videos coming for fellow #BrewCrewer Roxwel. We actually shot this over the summer but due to a few unforeseen instances it sat in the vault for a minute. Look out for a few mixtape videos as well as one for “Money In My Pocket” coming soon.
been a little slow here lately but don’t worry we still been working. after starting off hand 2 hand with the “Talk of the Town” LP, we have decided to drop a FreEP version to the net. The EP features 5 songs from the album plus 2 bonus cuts and production from Beta, Alpha-Bet, Smerf and yours truly … Vizzie Johnson (you’ll understand the reference soon enough). Anyways … download it … it’s free … and if you like it buy the full length on Itunes.

Rather they admit it or not every producer has their favorites they love working with. As someone who grew up on west coast gangster rap and hardcore east coast hip hop I always loved hearing “street rappers” over my sample beats and Tripp was my favorite to do it. This is just not something I am saying because my dude passed away, this is something I told him all the time. We had a very unique chemistry when it came to music and Tripp never ceased to amaze me at the beats he would pick from me. Over the last 6 or 7 years we knocked out 15 or so songs, some which saw the light of day and some that didn’t. The one thing I could always say about Tripp is that he was always 100 with me and I always respected that. The thing about his death that had me so messed up is that no one could have seen that coming. He was always positive about life and how God was bringing things together for the greater good. We had just spoke on the phone the afternoon before about the videos I was working on for him and all the plans he had for the near future and like always I told him I was behind whatever he wanted to do. Getting that call the next morning had me in a daze of disbelief all day. Now I can only pray the strength of his family and friends as they deal with the tragedy. The songs I am posting are a few which I threw on some of my projects previously but we have alot more together. Depending on how his fam wants to proceed is how I’ll approach the rest of the work we have. Tripp will definitely be missed. God rest his soul.
